Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, she studied International Affairs in Portland, OR at Lewis & Clark College and then worked abroad for five years. As an overseas English teacher, Laura had the great fortune of working with students in Russia, Reunion Island, and Tanzania and came to realize that their interests and needs often were common in every culture.
Laura is currently studying for her Masters in Public Administration at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and will be serving in the Peace Corps as part of her program from 2015-2017. She hopes to continue her career in education development and project management.
